As part of our celebration of the exhibit we will be showing a wonderful film screening of โ€œStreet Heroinesโ€ on June 13th to showcase the courage and creativity of women who despite their lack of recognition have been an integral part of the graffiti and street art movement since the beginning. Please join us on Thursday, June 13, 2024, starting at 5pm for a look at this fantastic award-winning feature-length documentary โ€œStreet Heroines,โ€ celebrating the courage and creativity of women. We will have a food truck on campus and cash bar starting at 5pm, Breaking Hearts will play at 6pm, and the screening will begin at 7pm with a directorโ€™s talk and Q&A immediately after the screening. This is a free community event in our Bank of America Theatre here at the National Hispanic Cultural Center.
