Parliament of Trees
City of Albuquerque on Instagram: "Don't miss this free artist talk! Join us at the Open Space Visitor Center on Oct. 24 from noon to 2 pm for Parliament of Trees. This discussion explores the Bosque as a rural and natural space within the heart of an urban environment. The artist will discuss the evolution of this body of work, which grew from a collaborative project organized by UNM’s Dr. Manuel Montoya, Albuquerque Public Art, and Gallery One. The featured drawings are the result of an extensive on-location drawing practice developed through nearly 100 visits to the Bosque, capturing the rhythms, character, and unique identity of this treasured landscape.
