Traffic Garden Grand Opening
Meredith Scott on Instagram: "Join us Friday, September 18, from 5–7 PM for an afternoon of bicycle riding, learning, and fun at the @cabqparks_rec first traffic garden, located just off the Rail Trail between Mountain Road and Bellamah Avenue. Traffic gardens — sometimes called Safety Towns, Safety Cities, or traffic playgrounds — are small-scale street networks where kids can learn to bike and practice real-world traffic skills in a safe, car-free environment. Open to all ages! Bring your bike! There will be free safety gear, swag, paletas, and more.
