La Carinderia would like to invite you all to our first mini market here at the restaurant in observance of Gháájí’ - widely known to be the Diné New Year, but it’s more than that! It’s the time of transition to the colder time of year where we give thanks for our year’s bounty/ harvest, our communities, and our opportunities for growth. Diné get ready for winter songs and ceremonies and we also start to reflect on how to better bring balance to the land and people that we are in charge of taking care of. The La Carinderia Gháájí’ Market will be a way to uplift our local community on Saturday 10/10 12pm-4pm and features local vendors, community care information, and wellness/ self care tools ✨ OH! And Snoden Snocones!!!!!! . Howdy Cakes will be providing vegan Ałkaan Navajo corn cake bites for all guests and we will also have a donation bin that will live at the restaurant to benefit Freewheel Mobile Aid.
