516 ARTS on Instagram: "October 10, 5-8pm - Join us for the closing reception of The Rest Is Drag, curated by Olivia Amaya Ortiz, and help us mark a major moment in the organization’s history: the final day 516 Arts will be open to the public at our Central Avenue location. Centering LGBTQIA+ histories, Indigenous cultural reclamation, and the enduring legacy of lowriding, The Rest Is Drag examines how communities have occupied, transformed, and reimagined the spaces of Route 66 on their own terms. The closing reception will feature special programming throughout the evening, offering one final opportunity to experience the exhibition, gather together in the gallery and celebrate the 20 years on Central Avenue. Featured artists include D.C ALLEN (Baaa t’-chlish, Del Curfman) (Crow Tribe of Montana), Justin Favela, Christina Fernandez, fronteristxs, Apolo Gomez, Vita Kari, Jesse Littlebird (Laguna/Kewa Pueblos), Nate Lemuel (Diné), Jonathan Loretto (Walatowa/Kotyit-i), The Perez Brothers, Eric Romero, Rose B.
